My paintings begin without a fixed destination. Working with fluid acrylics on unprimed canvas, I allow water, pigment, and salt to interact freely with the raw surface, creating layered compositions in which chance becomes an active collaborator. Rather than controlling every outcome, I respond to what emerges, allowing each painting to unfold on its own terms.

This dialogue between intention and unpredictability lies at the heart of my
practice. I want a painting to surprise me, to ask questions, reveal unexpected
relationships, and continue to change the longer I spend with it. Like the sea and the sky, each painting should feel open rather than contained, without a clear beginning or end. I am drawn to works that breathe, shift, and remain alive through subtle details, imperfections, and quiet tension.

My paintings emerge from my inner world rather than the visible one. They are shaped by memories, emotions, and fleeting impressions that influence who we are but cannot be fully captured in words. Rather than depicting specific stories or events, I translate the traces they leave behind into colour, movement, and form.

For me, painting is an exchange between my intuition and what emerges on the canvas. Each work develops a life of its own through the interplay of chance, material, and memory, remaining open enough for new meanings to emerge with every encounter.
